Shipping & Returns

Shipping
VK Hardware ships from our Oakville, Ontario warehouse to all of Canada and to most international destinations.
Canada
- Standard: 3–7 business days. Free over $250 CAD.
- Express: 1–3 business days. Calculated at checkout.
- GTA local pickup: Available from our Oakville showroom by appointment, free of charge.
United States & International
Most brands we carry can be shipped to the United States and select international destinations. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Transit time and rate are calculated at checkout based on destination.
Order Processing
Stock items typically ship within 1–2 business days. Special-order, made-to-order, and custom-finish hardware ships once the manufacturer fulfills (typically 2–8 weeks depending on the brand and finish). You'll receive a tracking link the moment your order is dispatched.
Returns
All returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
Returns of products from any brand other than VK Hardware are subject to a 25% restocking fee. VK Hardware-branded products are not subject to a restocking fee.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the product arrived defective or we shipped the wrong item.
To start a return, email info@vk-hardware.ca with your order number. We'll respond within 1 business day with return instructions.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Inspect every shipment within 7 days of arrival. If anything is damaged in transit or doesn't match what you ordered, photograph the issue and the packaging and email us right away — we'll arrange a replacement at no cost and no restocking fee.
