Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of vk-hardware.ca and any purchase from VK Hardware Concepts Ltd. ("VK Hardware", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account, signing in (whether by email, Google, or Apple), placing an order, or otherwise using the site, you accept these terms.

VK Hardware Concepts Ltd. is incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada, with registered office at 2333 Wyecroft Rd., Unit 11, Oakville, ON L6L 6L4. HST (Ontario) Registration No.: 700484900RT0001. All sales tax shown at checkout is collected under this HST registration.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Account Registration and Sign-In

You may create an account using your email and a password, or by signing in with Google or Apple. You agree:

• To provide accurate, current information.
• To keep your password and authentication credentials confidential.
• That you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• To notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at info@vk-hardware.ca.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, you authorize us to receive your name, email, and (for Google) profile picture from that provider, solely to create and access your VK Hardware account. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Pricing and Currency

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise indicated. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout. Sales tax is added at checkout based on your shipping destination.

4. Orders and Acceptance

An order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order — including for product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, or trade-eligibility concerns. If we cancel a paid order, you'll receive a full refund within 5 business days.

5. Payment

Payment is required at the time of order unless trade-program terms have been agreed in writing. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit cards, and Canadian Interac e-transfer. Payments are processed by Square Inc. — your card data is never stored on our servers.

6. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon delivery to the carrier. See our Shipping & Returns policy for details on transit times, free-shipping thresholds, and international destinations.

7. Returns and Warranty

Return windows vary by brand (typically 30 days from delivery; up to 180 days for Emtek and VK Hardware-branded products). Items must be in original unopened packaging, uninstalled, and undamaged. A 25% restocking fee applies to all approved returns except VK Hardware-branded products. Custom-finished, special-order, and made-to-order pieces are non-returnable; PullCast pieces are final sale. See Shipping & Returns for the per-brand window table. Manufacturer warranties pass through to you; VK Hardware will assist in facilitating warranty claims.

8. Authorized Dealer

VK Hardware is an authorized Canadian dealer for the brands listed on our site. All products sold through vk-hardware.ca are genuine and covered by their manufacturer's warranty.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any third party's rights.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape, or extract data at scale without our written permission.
• Submit false or misleading information, including in trade applications.
• Use the site to transmit malware, spam, or harmful code.
• Interfere with the site's operation or other users' access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing info@vk-hardware.ca. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms with notice (or immediately for fraud, abuse, or repeated violations).

11. Intellectual Property

All site content (text, photographs, logos, layout, code) is the property of VK Hardware Concepts Ltd. or its licensors. Brand names and trademarks shown belong to their respective owners and are used here under authorized-dealer agreements. You may not reproduce or redistribute site content without written permission.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for express warranties stated in writing, the site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VK Hardware's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or any transaction is limited to the price paid for the product(s) at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify VK Hardware from any claims arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes are submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, subject to any non-waivable consumer protection rights you may have under your local law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
